Girls Inc. of Westchester & YWCA White Plains and Central Westchester

Girls Inc. is an over 140 year old national nonprofit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Girls Inc. has responded to the changing needs of girls and their communities by developing and delivering research-based programs that empower girls to help them realize their full potential and assert their rights.

The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. For over 80 years, our YWCA  has served thousands of women, men and children weekly at our facility on North Street in White Plains. They participate in swimming, athletics, children's programs and other activities. At our Residence for Women on North Broadway, the YWCA provides permanent supportive housing.
